Cooperation CNB

De Tulperij works together with the CNB from Lisse. The CNB acts as an intermediary for the trade in flower bulbs, tubers and perennials. Together with the employees of the CNB, we ensure that a dahlia show garden with more than 600 varieties of dahlias is in flower at De Tulperij farm in the late summer. How spectacular is that?! You can visit this show garden on Tuesday to Sunday, from August 13 to October 2.

Note: We are closed on Mondays.

Excursion

We are open from August 13 to October 16 from Tuesday to Sunday. You are welcome to enjoy the dahlias in the show garden and the pick-your-own garden between 09:30 and 17:00. An excursion can be booked almost daily. Daan or Anja will tell you everything about the cultivation of dahlias and the difference between bulbs and tubers.

Dahlias for sale

Move from one surprise to the next when you walk through the show garden. Did you know were so many varieties of dahlias in so many colors? We hope that you will become as enthusiastic about the dahlias as we are during your visit to De Tulperij.

Do you also want dahlias in your garden next year? Then buy your favourite dahlia tubers from our store in the spring. We are happy to help you with your selection and can give you advice about the types. The dahlia flowers will bloom from August to the end of October. You should remove the tubers from the ground after the flowering time, as they do not like frost. Read more about this via the link below.

Spring bulbs for sale

You cannot buy tubers during the dahlia season, but this is the moment to purchase your spring flowering bulbs. By spring flowering, we mean the the bulbs of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, muscari, alliums and colchicums and in  our ‘candy shop’ you will find a large selection. Feel free to look around the store and let our employees advise you.

Pick-your-own garden

You do not need to book an excursion to visit De Tulperij farm. You can also just drop by and pick your bunch of dahlias. Don’t forget to walk through the show garden and enjoy all types, shapes and colors of dahlias.

Family outing

Fresh air, a colourful decor and child-friendly. De Tulperij farm is ideally suited as a location for an educational family outing. We have set up an educational walkingtour about the dahlias in the show garden for children between the ages of 4 and 12. Find the questions about the dahlias and discover the ‘did you know that…’ signs.

Afterwards there is a nice surprise for the children.
