Thousands of tulips are in bloom, creating a sea of color. As soon as you arrive, you’ll feel the cheerful atmosphere of spring. You’ll stroll past long rows of colorful tulips, hear the birds singing, and breathe in the fresh air.
De Tulperij is a family-run business where hospitality comes first. We’d love to welcome you and tell you more about what we do. Inside the greenhouse or out on the terrace, you can enjoy a cup of coffee or tea with homemade cake while looking out over the flower garden.

Take photos in the tulip field
Flowers have a magical appeal, and we’d love to share our love for daffodils and tulips with you. An admission ticket is required to take photos in the flower field.
You’re welcome to enter the daffodil and tulip fields to take your own photos. You’ll have over 45 minutes to capture those coveted shots among the flowers. It’s an experience worth capturing forever. A staff member will always accompany you to the fields so you can ask questions about tulip cultivation.

>> Please arrive at the meeting point in the large barn 5 minutes before the start of your ticket time slot. From there, we will guide you to the field.

Pick your own bouquet of tulips
In the pick-your-own garden, you can create your own unique bouquet of tulips. With a bucket in hand, choose the tulips you like best. From classic red tulips to unique varieties, there’s always something new to discover.
There is no admission fee for the Tulperij. You pay for your tulips at the greenhouse.
You'll receive a lovely card with instructions on how to best care for your tulips at home. A fun experience for the whole family.

Be bold and mix and match—take home a personalized bouquet
You can pick tulips in our pick-your-own garden as long as they’re growing and blooming. This depends on the weather, as sun and rain affect their growth and blooming. Nature sets the pace here. Keep an eye on our Instagram and Facebook. We’ll post there when the pick-your-own garden is open.

Show garden full of colorful flowers
In our show garden, you’ll discover just how rich and colorful the world of spring bulbs is. Thousands of tulips, each with its own shape and color. From small, delicate flowers to large, eye-catching varieties, from classic red to surprisingly variegated hues. Daffodils and hyacinths are also blooming in abundance here.
Visiting our show garden is free. Take your time, stroll along the paths, and let yourself be surprised. Maybe you prefer the pointed tulips, or perhaps the peony tulips bring a smile to your face, or you might discover a variety you’ve never seen before.
We have recently created a special daffodil show garden in collaboration with CNB, featuring more than two hundred varieties. Together with the hyacinths, this makes the garden even more diverse and colorful.
It's a feast for the eyes and a source of inspiration for your own garden or balcony.

A colorful garden at home, too
Dahlia tubers for sale
Would you like to enjoy a colorful garden at home? In our show garden, you can see the most beautiful varieties of tulips, daffodils, hyacinths, and other spring-blooming flowers.
You can’t buy tulip, daffodil, and hyacinth bulbs in the spring. That’s because they’re already in the ground. In the spring, dahlia tubers are available, shipped directly from growers in the Bulb Region.
During the summer, when dahlias are in season, you can browse and purchase all our spring bulbs in person at our store.

Discover the story behind the tulip
If you’d like to learn more, join a small-group tour. For groups of 12 or more, Daan or Anja will share the story behind the tulip.
From planting the bulb to the flower blooming. You’ll learn how the Bollenstreek region has grown thanks to these colorful crops and see up close how we work. Of course, there will be plenty of time to ask questions and take photos.

Spring is tulip season
Plan your visit
The tulip season runs from March 19 through May 10, 2026. During the season, we are open daily from 9:00 AM to 5:30 PM, including Sundays and holidays.
Parking is free on our property. Cyclists can find us between junctions 55 and 58. Dogs are also welcome, provided they are kept on a leash.
A day at De Tulperij is an experience you’ll never forget. From colorful fields and a pick-your-own garden to a cozy greenhouse with a gift shop and terrace.
You’re more than welcome to explore, enjoy, and create memories you’ll never forget.

Most of the outdoor area is dedicated to the show garden, where you can see many varieties of tulips and take photos, with plenty of space to walk around. A smaller section is the picking garden, where you can pick tulips to take home.
When the weather is nice, you can enjoy a delicious grilled sandwich outside on the terrace with a drink. It’s definitely worth a visit and taking some great photos.”
