By car
By car, take the A44 and exit at Noordwijkerhout/Sassenheim (N208). Follow the N443 toward Noordwijkerhout and take the second small road on the right, Oude Herenweg. Follow the signs for De Tulperij, and you’ll reach us after about 800 meters. Free parking is available in the square.
The road to De Tulperij is narrow. Please be considerate of others. Look ahead and see where you can pass each other.
By bike
De Tulperij is located between bike junctions 55 and 58.
By bus
If you're taking the regular bus, take line 50 and get off at the Engelenbuurt stop in Lisse. From there, it's a 15-minute walk. Plan your public transit trip.

Do I need to make a reservation in advance for my visit?
You must reserve a ticket only for tours and photo opportunities in the flower field. You’re welcome to just drop by the pick-your-own garden.
Do I need to make a reservation for the pick-your-own garden?
No, that's not necessary. You can come pick fruit at any time of day.
Is admission free?
Admission to De Tulperij and the show gardens is free. There is a fee for tours, workshops, and flower picking.
Are restaurants and bars open to the public?
Yes, the food and beverage area is free and open to the public.
Do you also have gluten-free and vegan pastries?
Yes, we have a selection of delicious gluten-free cupcakes and vegan banana bread.
Can I order all the bulbs I see in the display garden?
No, the signs next to the tulips indicate which ones are for sale.
When can I buy bulbs and tubers, and when will they be delivered?
During the summer and fall, while dahlias are in season, you can come to our store to browse and purchase all our spring bulbs in person. You’ll see exactly what you’re buying and can choose from beautiful, firm, high-quality bulbs sourced directly from growers in the Bollenstreek region.
These spring bulbs are delivered in the fall. That is the right time to plant them so they will bloom in the spring.
In addition, dahlia tubers are available in our store in the spring. They are in stock and ready to plant in the spring.
Do I need to make a reservation to take photos in the flower field?
Yes, via THIS LINK you can buy a ticket and reserve your spot.
Can I enter the grounds with a wheelchair or stroller?
Yes, the greenhouse, the terrace, and the paths through the show garden are all accessible. Please note that the ground in the field may be unpaved.
Is there parking available?
Parking is available for cars and bicycles. We do not allow parking for RVs and trailers.
Are dogs allowed?
Yes, provided they are on a leash.
