De Tulperij, registered with the Chamber of Commerce under number 71180133, located at Oude Herenweg 16B, 2215 RZ in Voorhout, processes personal data of its customers, prospects, and other contacts. De Tulperij does this to assist visitors/customers and third parties as effectively as possible and to achieve our objectives. In this privacy statement, we explain why and how we process your personal data.

This website (www.detulperij.nl, a website operated by De Tulperij) processes privacy-sensitive data, also known as personal data. De Tulperij considers the careful handling of personal data to be of the utmost importance. We therefore process and secure personal data with the utmost care.

In our processing activities, we comply with the requirements set forth by the GDPR (effective May 25, 2018). This means, among other things, that we:

Why do we process this personal data?
De Tulperij processes personal data for the following purposes:
1. Administration and service provision In our records, we keep track of who our potential customers (for reservations) and suppliers are, along with the relevant contact persons. We maintain various personal data about contact persons to provide our services as effectively as possible. For example, we keep contact details on file so we can reach you and be of service. You can contact De Tulperij through various channels: phone, mail, email, and Facebook. To make this possible, we also process personal data.
2. Newsletters and mailings You can (in the future) sign up with us for the De Tulperij newsletter, which may be personalized. If there is a change to your profile, you can update it using the option provided at the bottom of the newsletter. If you no longer wish to receive newsletters from us, you can unsubscribe at the bottom of each newsletter (sometimes indicated by the term “unsubscribe”).
3. Marketing & Recruitment We also process personal data for De Tulperij campaigns. For example, IP address, cookie ID, social ID, and/or browsing behavior. We do this to display the most relevant advertisement in the right places. We may also use “custom audiences” via social media platforms for De Tulperij (and our related campaigns). We can do this through Facebook and possibly Instagram targeting. (Personalized) ads may be displayed on these platforms. We do not share any personal data with third parties for this purpose, unless you have given your unambiguous consent. Please note: even after opting out, you may still see De Tulperij ads if you fall into a general target audience that we are targeting with our ads.
4. Improving De Tulperij’s Services We also collect personal data to improve our services. For example, we track click behavior on the website to analyze which articles are read most frequently and open rates to determine whether (potentially in the future) our newsletters are found to be relevant.

Rights of Data Subjects

• Information and access: Of course, you can view which of your personal data we have processed and recorded. If you wish, we will explain how and why we process that data.
• Rectification: Do you believe we have recorded incorrect data about you? Please let us know, and we will correct it as soon as possible.
• Right to be Forgotten: You may request that we delete the personal data we have about you. However, we may still need to process that data for other purposes (such as administration or deduplication).
• Restriction: If you believe we are processing your personal data unlawfully or incorrectly, you may also request that such processing be restricted.
• Objection: You may object to the processing of your personal data. Is it for marketing purposes? In that case, we will cease such processing as soon as possible.

Retention Periods De Tulperij does not retain your data for longer than is necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this privacy statement. We retain data for as long as you are subscribed to (our future) newsletter. When you send us an email or ask a question via a contact form, we retain your data for an additional 6 months after we have responded, in order to be able to answer any follow-up questions. We retain business data for as long as the mutual service relationship continues. Related personal data—in connection with the company you work for or represent—is also included here.

Legal Basis for Data Processing
As explained above, we process some data to comply with a legal obligation, some to fulfill a contract (order, purchase of a service and/or product, or an event), and most to pursue De Tulperij’s legitimate interest: achieving our mission. Third-Party Recipients
We may engage service providers to perform some of our services. These are not “third-party recipients” but processors.
