The best things to do in the region

We collaborate with a number of partners who have included a visit to De Tulperij in their itinerary. This allows us to work together locally and ensures you have the best possible experience exploring flowers, bulbs, and the Dune and Bulb Region.

Keukenhof/De Tulperij
From Amsterdam, you’ll first take a bus to visit our tulip farm, then go for a boat ride on the Kagerplassen, and finally be taken to Keukenhof. The tour will be conducted in English by Daan, the flower bulb grower himself.

Tulip Bike Tours
A guided bike tour through the Dune and Bulb Region. Along the way, you’ll learn all about the Bulb Region and enjoy a break at De Tulperij.

Vespa Rental Noordwijk

Rent an E-chopper in Noordwijk (starting location: NH Leeuwenhorst in Noordwijkerhout) and stop for coffee at De Tulperij. This stop is included in the route.

Space Expo
Plan a visit to Space Expo in Noordwijk in combination with a visit to De Tulperij. From Katwijk, you can put together a fun cycling route to tour the Bollenstreek and visit these two attractions.

Cycling past the giant art bulbs
In 2018, the Gildemeesters Bollenstreek Foundation launched the art project “GIANT TULIP BULBS,” also known as Giant Bulbs. These life-sized works of art, shaped like tulip bulbs, are painted by various artists from the Bollenstreek region. From Leiden to Haarlem, 80 Giant Bulbs will be placed, each telling its own story.
